Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

This part-time Veterinary Receptionist role sits at the front desk of Vets Now Sidcup, supporting emergency and critical care services when pet owners need help most. You'll be the first point of contact, handling calls, welcoming clients, and dealing with financial transactions.

The role also includes passing information to the veterinary team about patients on the way to the clinic or clients needing support, along with accurate administration. The working pattern is every Sunday 16:00 to 23:00, every other Saturday 14:00 to 23:00, and every other Monday 18:00 to 23:00.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for emergency and critical care clients
• Answer calls and greet clients at the clinic
• Handle financial transactions
• Relay updates to the veterinary team about incoming patients or clients needing help
• Carry out administrative duties accurately

Requirements

• Ability to work the stated part-time rota
• Comfortable working in an emergency and critical care setting
• Good communication and administration skills
