About the Role

This part-time Veterinary Surgeon position sits within the Emergency and Critical Care service at Vets Now Bath. You’ll be working through an 8-week rolling rota that includes Thursday night 1900 to 0830, Sunday day 0830 to 1930, Saturday day 1200 to 1930, Friday night 1900 to 0830, plus a fair share of bank holidays.

The role offers a varied ECC caseload, giving you the chance to build experience with cases you would not normally see in general practice. You’ll be joining a welcoming team in Bath, with support from Nurses, Receptionists and Animal Care Assistants, and the location brings historical, cultural and outdoor attractions.

Shift patterns can be discussed further, and the team will try to work around your lifestyle and clinic requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver veterinary care within Vets Now Bath’s emergency and critical care service.
• Manage a varied ECC caseload across a part-time rolling rota.
• Work alongside Nurses, Receptionists and Animal Care Assistants.
• Cover night shifts, day shifts and bank holidays as part of the rota.
• Contribute to the emergency service in Bath.

Requirements

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon.
• Interest in emergency and critical care work.
• Ability to work part-time on an 8-week rolling rota.
