This is a full-time permanent position at Vets4Pets Fort Kinnaird, a busy and well-established small animal practice in Edinburgh. The role offers something increasingly rare in veterinary medicine: no out-of-hours duties and no sole charge work. With around 60 years of veterinary experience across the team, the practice is entering an exciting expansion phase in 2027, creating real opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape the next stage of growth.
You'll work a predictable 3-week rolling rota with longer working days (08:30-19:30) balanced by full days away from work. Typically three vets are on duty during weekdays and two at weekends, ensuring you're never working alone. Standard consultations are 25 minutes with protected diary gaps built in for case management, calls, and catch-up.
Vets4Pets Fort Kinnaird is part of the Vets4Pets family and Pets at Home group. The practice is well-established with approximately 60 years of combined veterinary experience across the team.
