You'll be joining a multiple award-winning small animal practice based in Nuneaton, voted Vets4Pets new practice of the year in 2019. This is a full-time position with shift patterns of 9am-5pm or 11am-7pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am-5pm), though the practice is open to discussing flexible arrangements.
The practice is modern and purpose-built, equipped with all standard facilities including a Cryopen for cryotherapy. You'll see a variety of interesting surgical and medical cases in a supportive environment where consultation slots are timed at 20 minutes, admin time and tea breaks are built into the diary, and a protected lunch break ensures you leave on time.
Nuneaton is well-connected, close to Birmingham and Coventry, with direct train access to London Euston (56 minutes). The practice sits within a Pets at Home store with plentiful parking and excellent public transport links.
Vets4Pets Nuneaton is a multiple award-winning general practice holding Practice Standard Scheme accreditation, RCVS accreditation, Silver accredited cat friendly status, and RWAF accreditation. The practice is modern and purpose-built, based within a Pets at Home store, and continues to grow with an expanding caseload of surgical and medical cases.
The team is led by two practice owners: Melissa, a qualified Vet GDP advisor with particular interests in soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine, and Lucy, an RVN with expertise in preventative care and anaesthesia. The practice is supported by a dedicated team committed to high standards of care and employee wellbeing, with mental health support and colleague assistance programmes in place.
