Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

Warren House Veterinary Group is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its established nursing team across four small animal branches in the Medway Towns. This is a full-time or part-time position offering genuine flexibility and a supportive clinical setting where you'll work with a varied caseload and access ongoing professional development. You'll work weekday shifts between 8:00am and 6:45pm, plus one in four Saturdays (8:45am–4:45pm). There are currently no Sunday, bank holiday, or out-of-hours requirements—all emergency cover is managed by Vets Now, so you can actually switch off when you're not on the rota.

Key Responsibilities

• Involvement in anaesthesia, imaging (including radiography), and inpatient care across the group's four sites
• Carrying out nurse consultations and developing this aspect of your practice
• Undertaking Schedule 3 procedures with appropriate support and encouragement
• Some sole nursing depending on the rota and branch allocation
• Exposure to visiting specialists, including orthopaedics and cardiology, to broaden your clinical knowledge
• Contributing to a collaborative nursing team of RVNs, student nurses, and patient care assistants

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification
• Experienced in small animal nursing practice
• Willingness to utilise your full skill set and take an active role in patient care
• Ability to work across multiple sites within the group
