This is a night shift position at Wirral Pet 999, the only independent, dedicated out-of-hours clinic serving the Wirral and Chester area. You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary, RCVS-Accredited referral hospital where emergency medicine is properly supported and clinical decisions are trusted. The role combines management of overnight hospitalised patients with the assessment and triage of emergency out-of-hours cases, backed by full referral clinician support and referral-level diagnostics.

Wirral Pet 999 is an independent, dedicated out-of-hours service functioning as a multi-disciplinary, RCVS-Accredited referral hospital. The service is built on principles of access and good medicine, with no equipment restrictions and no off-site call centres. All calls are handled locally by the on-site daytime administration team, allowing clinicians to focus on clinical care rather than logistics.
Housed within Peninsula Vet Referrals on the Wirral Peninsula, the clinic offers full referral-level diagnostics including CT scanning, endoscopy, ultrasound, extensive in-house laboratory suite, drip pumps and syringe drivers.
