Woodside Veterinary Group is seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their main practice in Torphins. This full-time position offers exposure to a diverse caseload across diagnostics, surgery, inpatient care, and preventative healthcare. You'll work 37.5 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, with Saturday and Sunday mornings on a 1 in 4 weekend rota (8:30am to 1pm Saturday, 10am to 1pm Sunday). Importantly, there are no out-of-hours or on-call duties, allowing you to enjoy genuine work-life balance while delivering excellent patient care in a rural practice setting where strong relationships with clients and their animals develop over time.

You'll be joining a well-resourced team of 8 veterinary surgeons, 5 nurses, and 11 support staff. Two nurses already hold specialist qualifications (nutrition and surgical nursing), and the practice actively supports continued professional development, making this an ideal environment for expanding your nursing skills.
Woodside Veterinary Group operates three branches across Royal Deeside (Torphins, Aboyne, and Banchory), all offering ample parking and modern facilities. The main practice in Torphins is purpose-built and self-contained, allowing the team to manage small animal consultations (by appointment 7 days a week), as well as farm animals and horses (both by prebooked visit and on-site if required). The practice provides 24-hour emergency care in-house without using external services, ensuring continuity of care under their own team.
