Listing Policy

These standards explain which roles fit the site, what information must be supplied, and the editorial actions that can be taken on a listing.

These pages cover how Veterinary Jobs UK is operated today. They are reviewed periodically and may evolve as the platform grows.

What we accept

  • UK veterinary surgeon, veterinary nurse, practice manager, and support-staff roles.
  • Permanent, locum, fixed-term, internship, and remote or telehealth roles that fit the live taxonomy.
  • Roles with a genuine veterinary employer, practice, hospital, referral centre, charity, or sector body.

Required listing quality

  • Clear job title, employer or practice identity, and a working application route.
  • Accurate UK location details, or a truthful remote / telehealth basis where applicable.
  • Compensation disclosed in GBP and treated as full-time equivalent where salary is shown.
  • Enough role detail for candidates to understand the caseload, scope, and working pattern.

What may be rejected or removed

  • Misleading, discriminatory, irrelevant, duplicate, or clearly stale listings.
  • Roles outside the veterinary remit of the site or outside the supported UK audience.
  • Listings with broken application routes, unverifiable employer context, or persistent factual issues.
  • Posts that appear to be lead-generation, spam, or traffic arbitrage rather than genuine recruitment.

Editorial review and normalization

Public submissions currently land in a draft-first workflow. The site may standardize taxonomy, location fields, salary structure, and formatting so listings fit the live UK data model before publication.

Imported roles may also be checked for duplicate risk, non-UK signals, postcode validity, and other editorial warnings before a listing goes live.

Corrections and next steps

If you want to submit a compliant role, use /post-a-job. Publication is never automatic.
