You’ll join Arundell Vets’ experienced nursing team across two sites in Kirk Sandall and Carcroft, working a mix of consulting, hospital, prep, and theatre shifts tailored to your preferences and strengths. This is a rare opportunity: full-time hours (38 hours over 4 days) with the genuine promise of no out-of-hours shifts, no Sunday work, and no bank holiday cover – VetsNow handle emergency provision, so in-patients stay on-site.
One Saturday morning per six weeks (8am–12:30pm) is the only weekend commitment, and that time is either paid on top of salary or given as TOIL. The practice has earned a well-deserved reputation for stellar work-life balance, and they’re serious about it.
Arundell Vets has been serving Doncaster and the surrounding area since 2006 as a dedicated family veterinary practice. The Kirk Sandall site is hospital-standard with laparoscopic equipment, digital dental X-ray, and vets performing advanced procedures including laparoscopy and orthopaedic surgery. The practice is a nurse training facility with two sites, creating a varied and stimulating caseload.
