This is a small animal Veterinary Surgeon position with Axe Valley Veterinary Practice, Weston, based in Weston Super Mare. The role is built around consulting and operating days, with RVNs, ANAs, a Lead Receptionist and the client care team supporting you through the week.
The practice is looking for a confident vet who enjoys taking charge of their own cases and providing excellent care to clients. Across the Axe Valley Group, there is caseload and experience to support both medical and surgical interests, along with skills and resources to help you work towards your career goals.
You will be joining a close-knit, collaborative team that values teamwork and camaraderie. The wider group includes a Director of Practice, a Clinical Director, 10 Vets, 9 RVNs and a supportive admin team, across six sites.
Axe Valley Veterinary Practice was founded in the Wedmore area in the 1950s and moved to its current Blackford location in the 1970s. It has grown to cover a wide area of Somerset, with branch surgeries at Cheddar, Wells, Woolavington and Bleadon, alongside the Weston branch.
