This is a Veterinary Surgeon opportunity with Quantock Vets in Bridgwater, where you will be part of a friendly and knowledgeable team that is looking to grow. The role can be full-time or part-time, and full-time offers a 4-day week with the same day off in the week if preferred.
Your week will include consult days, theatre days, inpatient shifts and a day at the branch surgery. Weekends are worked on a rota basis, with 1:6 full weekends and 1:6 half weekends. There is no OOH, as the practice runs its own dedicated out of hours service for the area, and there are no bank holidays.
The practice would also like to support a special interest where possible, and is looking for someone who is comfortable with sole charge and day one competencies.
Quantock Veterinary Hospital is an RCVS accredited hospital with a branch at Nether Stowey. The practice has been providing care for the pets of Bridgwater and Nether Stowey since 1985.
It is a busy first opinion practice, working 100% small animal with a good amount of exotics. Facilities include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, portable and diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy and laparoscope equipment. The practice also has dedicated inpatient shifts for both vets and nurses, plus a dedicated night team.
