About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity working 40 hours across 5 days per week with a manageable 1:4 weekend rota (time off in lieu). You’ll be part of a well-established, stable team at Blythwood Vets, where clinical excellence and supportive teamwork are the norm. Based across their Bushey, Hatch End, Northwood and Stanmore sites, you’ll gain broad exposure to varied first-opinion cases while working alongside experienced vets and nurses who genuinely value each other.

The practice has been serving the local community for over 40 years, and many team members have stayed for years – a testament to the welcoming, collaborative culture you’ll be joining. Led by Clinical Director Ceri Davies, the team prioritises compassionate patient care and creates space for you to develop both clinically and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and assist veterinary surgeons in clinical procedures
• Run nurse clinics and support client consultations independently
• Maintain clinical protocols and standards across the four-site group
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team including vets, nurses, and client care staff
• Support a varied first-opinion caseload with a focus on patient and client care

Requirements

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse qualification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence working in a busy practice environment
• A commitment to clinical and professional development
