Looking for an ECC night role with real case variety and a rota that gives you proper recovery time? This could be the next move if you want emergency work in a brand-new hospital setting with a supportive team behind you.
Night ECC role, 7 nights on and 14 nights off, shifts from 8 pm to 8 am.
Bramble and Bear Vet Care is preparing to launch a brand-new Hospital and Rehab Centre this autumn, and the practice is looking for an experienced vet to join the dedicated night team. The role is open to someone with ECC experience or a strong interest in emergency work, provided you have the confidence to manage emergency cases.
The rota is 7 nights on and 14 nights off, with shifts running from 8 pm to 8 am. Dedicated handover time is built in at the start and end of each shift to support continuity with the day team, and the practice is also happy to consider a weekend-only night role.
The hospital will be on a working farm in the Staffordshire Moorlands, with a calm setting and practical touches such as an outdoor space for inpatients and the team. The nearby farm shop and café are an added bonus for downtime.
Bramble and Bear Vet Care is an owner-run practice founded by experienced vets. The business began as a clinic-on-wheels and later developed into a mobile surgical unit, before opening its first hub in September 2023.
The new Hospital and Rehab Centre will include two fully equipped theatres, a dedicated dental suite, an imaging suite with DR X-ray, Doppler ultrasound and endoscopy, separate cat and dog wards, an underwater treadmill, hydrotherapy and a dedicated physiotherapy space. The practice is Fear-Free accredited and aims to offer transparent pricing, free consultations and fixed-cost hospitalisation and surgery.
