Registered Veterinary Nurse – Small Animal

About the Role

You’ll be joining a collaborative 32-person team at Cliffe Vets, providing high-quality small animal care across one main site and two fully-equipped branch surgeries. This part-time RVN position offers 33 hours per week across three 10.5-hour days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), giving you genuine flexibility without the grind of full-time hours. A 1:6 Saturday rota is included, with time off in lieu given the following week.

Your days will involve patient admissions, assisting with operations and procedures, running nurse-led consultations, and supporting dispensary and reception as needed. You’ll work alongside experienced vets and fellow nurses in an environment where collaboration and quality care come first, with support from a practice that genuinely values its team.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification
• Experience in small animal practice
• An experienced candidate is preferred

About the Practice

Cliffe Vets is an established small animal practice serving Lewes with a team of 32 dedicated professionals including vets, RVNs, student nurses, and client care staff. The practice operates from one main site plus two branch surgeries, each equipped for routine operations and nurse-led consultations. Diagnostic imaging is available at the main site. The practice also provides their own in-house emergency service for registered clients, staffed by their own team.
