About the Role

As Practice Host, you'll be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, helping to create a welcoming, organised and professional experience from the moment they arrive. The role suits someone who enjoys working with people, communicates confidently and can keep a busy reception area running smoothly.

You'll be supporting day-to-day front-of-house activity in a veterinary environment, including bookings, client contact, patient check-ins and weigh-ins, along with helping clients feel comfortable throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets warmly on arrival.
• Answer phone calls and emails professionally.
• Book appointments, send reminders and manage the calendar.
• Support client check-ins and weigh-ins.
• Provide information about services, treatments and products.
• Keep reception tidy, organised and confidential.
• Process payments and handle billing accurately.
• Support veterinarians, nurses and wider team members with smooth clinic operations.
• Help with clinic events, promotions, community outreach and client reviews.
• Resolve client concerns promptly and effectively.
