A home-based role handling companion animal out of hours calls, with a rota that includes early, evening and weekend cover. It suits someone who is comfortable working across bookings, client registration and vet liaison in a developing service.
Out of hours role with cover for 06:00 to 08:00 Monday to Friday, 20:00 to 02:00 Monday to Sunday, plus 08:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 20:00 at weekends. Bank holidays are included in the rota.
This is a new and developing Petcomms position, supporting companion animal clinics by handling out of hours calls from a home-based setting. The work is varied and includes answering calls, booking appointments, registering new clients and liaising with vets on appointment and diary management.
The rota has some flexibility, and the current cover needed includes 06:00 to 08:00 Monday to Friday, 20:00 to 02:00 Monday to Sunday, plus weekend shifts from 08:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 20:00. A minimum of 6 hours per week, or 26 hours per month, is required, with bank holidays also included in the rota.
Pay is hourly, and the role comes with an annualised uplift in lieu of holidays. An informal Teams discussion can be arranged by email if you would like to find out more.
The role sits within CVS Group's companion animal team and is linked to Equicomms, described in the advert as a home-based role. Petcomms is presented as a new and developing service working alongside companion animal clinics.
