Mixed shift patterns including 3pm-1am, 4pm-3.30am, and 7pm-6.30am shifts with ICU duties. Also includes weekend day shifts 6am-3.30pm or 7am-4.30pm. Approximately 2 shifts per week for holiday cover.
PetMedics is a large, modern 24-hour small animal veterinary hospital in Manchester offering both general practice and specialist referral services. You'll be part of a truly superb clinical team of 37 veterinary surgeons and 41 nurses, supported by dedicated PCAs, receptionists, and an ambulance team. This fixed-term role spans approximately 1,000 hours per year, averaging 2 shifts weekly, combining shift work and weekend day cover.
Working across all aspects of general practice and referral nursing, no two days will be the same. You'll support patient care in a spacious, well-equipped facility with 4 theatres, 6 consulting rooms, intensive care ward, separate cat and dog wards, exotics and isolation wards, digital X-ray, CT scanner, multiple ultrasound units, endoscopy, laparoscopy, mechanical ventilation, and extensive in-house laboratory. The practice holds GOLD Cat Friendly Clinic status and SILVER Rabbit Friendly status.
