This is an experienced out-of-hours veterinary surgeon role with sole-charge responsibility. The rota is ideally 7 on, 14 off, with options open to discussion to support your needs, and the salary starts from £70,000 FTE.
You will be working in a senior clinical position where quick decisions matter, managing a varied emergency caseload across triage, stabilisation, diagnostics, complex medical cases and emergency surgery. The role is based at MiNightVet Wokingham, a dedicated small animal emergency service within CVS 24/7 Wokingham.
The hospital has a collaborative overnight team and a strong nursing background, with equipment and facilities designed to support rapid investigation and treatment, including a CT unit installed in 2024, digital X-ray, ultrasound, an onsite laboratory, monitored hospitalisation, isolation facilities and two sterile operating theatres.
MiNightVet Wokingham is described as a dedicated small animal emergency service within CVS 24/7 Wokingham. The service has a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs and reception colleagues.
It is also a nurse training practice, and the hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities to support overnight emergency work.
