Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

Valley Vets is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly team across the Kilmarnock and Stewarton sites. The rota is 40 hours a week, and the practice is described as busy, forward thinking and focused on delivering high standards of care.

You will be based within a two site practice that is around 20 minutes south of Glasgow and about 10 minutes from the Ayrshire coast. The main surgery is purpose built and RCVS accredited, with equipment including dental radiography, endoscopy and recently upgraded ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities

• Support patient care across all aspects of clinical work as part of the team.
• Promote pet wellness and monitor patients' health.
• Help with patient recovery and provide reassurance to clients.
• Contribute to a positive, friendly and welcoming team culture.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and clients, both verbally and in writing.
• Take part in ongoing training and development through CVS and the practice.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse status.

About the Practice

Valley Vets is a two site small animal practice in Kilmarnock and Stewarton, operating within CVS Veterinary Group. The practice says it has around 20 people on site, is RCVS accredited and holds five RCVS Outstanding Practice Standard Awards.

It is also an SVN training practice and is equipped with dental radiography, endoscopy and recently upgraded ultrasound.
