About the Role

This Registered Veterinary Nurse position sits within Highcroft Veterinary Centre, part of CVS Veterinary Group, and is based primarily at the Frome practice with one day a week at Silva House in Radstock. The role is part-time and permanent, with 31.75 hours a week, and includes Saturday shifts on a 1 in 8 rota from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

You will be joining a first opinion small animal practice that also provides basic care for exotic animals. The team works across three sites, with 17 nurses in total, and the Frome site typically has two to three nurses and two vets on duty each day.

• Deliver care for patients and support owners throughout their journey.
• Support patient recovery and contribute to clinical work as part of the wider team.
• Help maintain quality across the practice and contribute to the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Take part in ongoing learning and development through CVS and the practice.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.
• A dedicated approach to patient and client care.
• Confidence in written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work as part of a friendly, experienced veterinary team.

About the Practice

Highcroft Veterinary Centre operates across Frome, Radstock, and Haycombe, and is part of CVS Veterinary Group. The practice offers veterinary care, surgery, and treatment alongside regular check-ups and routine procedures, with advanced services in cardiology, soft tissue surgery, and keyhole surgery.
