About the Role

This is a partnership opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join Medivet Gatley and become a co-owner of the practice. The role combines clinical leadership with the chance to shape the future of the business, while still focusing on patient care, team leadership and local community service.

The partnership model is designed to make ownership more accessible, with a 10% buy-in starting from just £10,000 and a 10-year deferred payment option. Medivet also states that there is no need for a bank loan or to put personal assets at risk, alongside commercial, operational and strategic support.

The clinic is in Cheadle, a suburb of Stockport in Greater Manchester, on a busy high street with private parking. It is also described as being 3 miles from Manchester airport and having direct rail links into Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead your own local practice as a Medivet Partner and co-owner.
• Provide clinical care for patients and support the delivery of exceptional veterinary care.

Requirements

• You must be an RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon.
• You should be passionate about compassionate care for pets and their owners.
• You should be motivated to build and grow a successful practice.
• Previous leadership experience is not essential.
• The role is open to vets who want to build something independently or in partnership with a colleague or friend.

Medivet Gatley is described as a beautiful purpose-built clinic spread over two floors. The practice has 6 consult rooms, 2 theatres, a dental suite, an imaging suite, and separate dog and cat waiting areas and wards.
