This full-time veterinary surgeon position is based at Albavet in Dunfermline, Fife, working across a four-day week with no out-of-hours or on-call commitments. You'll join a friendly, supportive team of 12 vets across four sites (Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Burntisland, and Dalgety Bay), delivering high-quality small animal care in a collaborative environment where clinical excellence and team development are equally valued.
The practice is well-equipped with modern facilities including laparoscopic equipment, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography, and dental X-ray, enabling you to manage a broad range of cases in-house. The clinical team includes certificate holders in Surgery and ECC, with regular specialist surgeon visits and access to the Vet Oracle telemedicine support platform for guidance across medicine, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, and more. Overnight inpatient care is provided by a dedicated night nursing team, ensuring continuity for both patients and clinicians.
