This is a fixed-term maternity cover position working 30 to 40 hours per week at Arbury Road Vets, a modern small animal practice in Cambridge. You'll join a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists in a friendly, collaborative environment where clinicians are empowered to make the best decisions and best practice is shared. The role can vary depending on your interests and offers a great opportunity to gain confidence across different case types.
You'll be involved in primary care out-of-hours consultations, receiving case transfers from member practices, inpatient care, medical workups and surgery. A strong foundation in routine and emergency surgery is essential, along with solid medical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
