About the Role

Batchelor Davidson & Watson Vet Group is looking for an experienced GP Veterinary Surgeon to join its team across two Edinburgh practices, Hillhouse and Newhaven. The rota is 40 hours a week across 4 days, and part time can also be offered. There is no OOH.

This role suits a vet who enjoys working as part of a friendly, approachable and supportive team. You will also have access to a fantastic ultrasound scanner and a laparoscopy kit.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality care for patients and clients across the Hillhouse and Newhaven practices.
• Manage a varied GP caseload, including surgical and medical cases.
• Carry out diagnostic investigations with confidence and precision.
• Support, mentor and inspire colleagues as part of a team focused environment.
• Contribute to shaping clinical standards and helping different case types be managed well.

Requirements

• Experience as a GP Veterinary Surgeon is required.
• Certificate holders are welcome.
• You should be confident in your clinical skills.
• You should be comfortable handling a varied caseload.
• You should be committed to excellent client care and to supporting your wider team.

Benefits

• Salary up to £65,000 per annum, DOE.
