Swansea Cat Clinic is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its independent, feline-only team. The role sits in a practice built around calm, low-stress care for cats, with 20-minute consultations and a working pattern designed to support a sustainable clinical day.
Full-time vets work four days a week from 9am to 6pm, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm. Out-of-hours cover is handled by Vets Now Swansea, so there are no Sundays, bank holidays or on-call duties. Part-time applications are also welcome, and different working patterns can be discussed.
The clinic is based in Swansea and offers a modern, purpose-built setting for feline medicine, with a team that values a down-to-earth, collaborative atmosphere.
Swansea Cat Clinic is an independent practice founded in 2023 by Veterinary Surgeon Richard Beynon. It was created as a dedicated feline clinic in Swansea, with the aim of placing cat welfare, comfort and individual needs at the centre of care.
The team has grown from three people into a close-knit practice that includes Richard, Owain, and a nursing team of 4 RVNs, soon to be 5, plus experienced support staff. The clinic has three consulting rooms, a dedicated theatre and prep area, digital x-ray, high-quality ultrasound, video endoscope and an in-house laboratory.
