About the Role

This Veterinary Surgeon opportunity at Dee View Irby & Neston Veterinary Centre is a part-time, permanent small animal role with 29.25 hours a week across Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The rota also includes a shared 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota, and there is some flexibility with the rota pattern.

You will work across both the Irby and Neston branches. The practices are described as well-established and highly supportive, with a long-standing team, internal career progression, and a collaborative approach to clinical development.

Clinical support includes a Senior Vet with an internal medicine interest, an experienced veterinary team with orthopaedic expertise, and a knowledgeable nursing team. The practice is equipped with ultrasound and endoscopy, and dental radiography is being introduced at Neston.

Requirements

• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
• Confident in clinical decision-making and autonomy.
• Able to manage a varied caseload.
• Comfortable leading on surgical and medical cases.
• Interested in further clinical development.
• Natural mentor with a strong team-focused approach.

About the Practice

Dee View Veterinary Centre is a well-established practice with branches in Irby and Neston. The two sites are described as being within 15 minutes of each other, with access to Chester, Liverpool and the surrounding Wirral area.

The team is experienced and long-standing, and many colleagues have progressed internally. CVS Veterinary Group supports the practice, with central HR, recruitment, payroll, IT, finance and procurement teams helping with the running of the business, alongside ongoing investment in facilities through a dedicated improvement fund.
