This is a small animal vet role at Debenham Vets in the Suffolk countryside, offering the chance to work in a privately owned, independent practice that combines first opinion and referral services under one roof. The setting is purpose built, with a supportive culture and a strong focus on development.
You will have a balanced mix of consulting and surgery, including at least one dedicated operating day most weeks. The post is based on a 4 day week with a set day off, plus a shared 1:6 weekend rota and weeknight on-call commitment of 4 nights in every 6 weeks.
The role suits a vet who has completed VetGDP and is comfortable in general practice, but wants room to keep growing. You will be supported by a structured nursing team, advanced clinical colleagues, and regular opportunities to learn through meetings, reviews, CPD and in-house education.
Debenham Veterinary Practice is an independent small animal practice in Debenham, Stowmarket, Suffolk. It provides on site emergency and critical care, plus referral services in veterinary ophthalmology, small animal surgery, outpatient CT imaging, laparoscopic spays, radioactive iodine treatment and dermatology.
