You'll join Scotland's only specialist dental and oromaxillofacial referral centre as a Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist or a veterinarian who has completed an AVDC/EVDC Residency. This daytime-only role offers a rare opportunity to work exclusively in advanced dentistry and oral surgery, with no weekend or out-of-hours commitments.
The practice is based in Haddington, East Lothian, just 30 minutes from Edinburgh. The area combines vibrant cultural access with coastal tranquillity, historic towns, and stunning Scottish countryside. The team of 12 includes a specialist anaesthetist, specialist veterinary dentist, board-eligible dentist, a dual certificate holder in dentistry and surgery, and a nurse undertaking the AVDT VTS dentistry programme. The practice operates from a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility in Haddington featuring Fujifilm cone-beam CT, Piezotome and Securos titanium plating system, advanced anaesthesia equipment, IM3 CR7 and CR14 dental radiology, IM3 Tara tables, fully equipped sterile surgical suite, in-house laboratory, and pharmacy.
