Lead nursing standards across three thriving small animal practices in Perthshire. A senior clinical role with real autonomy, supportive leadership, and a 1:4 Saturday rota that respects your weekends.
1 in 4 Saturday morning rota with time off in lieu
Fair City Veterinary Group is recruiting a Head Veterinary Nurse to oversee clinical nursing excellence across its three established practices in Crieff, Perth (Fair City), and Auchterarder. This full-time, 40-hour role works across four days with shifts from 8am to 7pm, plus participation in a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota with time off in lieu.
You'll step into a genuine leadership position where you shape nursing culture, standards, and team development across multiple sites. From the friendly, close-knit atmosphere in Crieff to the spacious modern facilities at Fair City and the newly renovated Auchterarder branch, each location offers distinct character and growth potential. This is a chance to make a real impact on clinical governance, quality improvement, and the future direction of the practice.
Fair City Veterinary Group comprises three well-established small animal practices with strong roots in their local communities. The main practice, based at 32 York Place in Perth, has been delivering veterinary care since the 1920s and is the longest-established practice in the area. A sister branch in Auchterarder serves the surrounding locality, and Crieff provides a friendly, close-knit clinic environment. All three sites are RCVS Tier 2 accredited.
The practice offers comprehensive general care including surgery, hospitalisation, radiography, ultrasonography, microchip implantation, dental services, and laboratory testing. Fair City is a RCVS-recognised Veterinary Nurse Training Practice, currently training students from Oatridge College. The group is part of inspiring vet care, the UK's number one vet care provider, trusted with the care of over 2 million animals.
