1 weeknight per week and 1 in 5 weekend rota
This is a locum equine veterinary position running from 24th August through mid to end October 2026. You will join an established, well-resourced practice positioned on the North Hertfordshire and South Cambridgeshire border, known for delivering high-quality in-patient care alongside routine ambulatory work.
The role offers a balanced mix of ambulatory calls, routine procedures, and advanced surgical cases. With a 1 weeknight per week and 1 in 5 weekend on-call rota, you'll have genuine downtime to recharge. Accommodation is available for the right candidate, and the practice sits conveniently along the A505/A10 corridor, making it easily commutable from Hitchin, Letchworth, Stevenage, Royston, and Cambridge.
