A modern, 24-hour RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in Essex is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-equipped, multi-disciplinary team delivering first-opinion and advanced care under one roof. This is a genuinely well-resourced environment with CT, MRI, digital radiography, endoscopy, hydrotherapy, and physiotherapy available. The team includes certificate holders across surgery, medicine, orthopaedics, exotics, and cardiology, and day-to-day case discussion and shared learning are embedded in the culture.
The role is first-opinion focused, with real exposure to advanced diagnostics and specialist colleagues as part of normal working life. With a 4-day week at 40 hours and just 1 in 4 weekends, you'll have genuine time to recover. On-call is minimal: only 3 to 4 instances per year.
