Shield Veterinary Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their small animal team on a full-time basis. This is a 4.5-day-per-week role (Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm with a fixed morning off each week) plus one Saturday in four (8am to noon). You'll work across two Southampton practices located 10 to 15 minutes apart, serving a vibrant South Coast community with easy access to the New Forest and excellent transport links to London.
The practice has built a strong, collaborative nursing culture: eight RVNs and one SVN across both sites, supported by experienced vets ranging from new graduates to professionals with over 30 years' experience. This is an ideal role if you're interested in mentoring student nurses, running nurse consultations, and contributing to the practice's journey towards Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation.
Shield Veterinary Centre is a well-established small animal group practice with two sites in Southampton, part of inspiring vet care (IVC Evidensia).
