Join a busy first-opinion small animal practice in Taunton with no out-of-hours commitment, a four-day full-time week and a caseload that includes everything from cats and dogs to the occasional tortoise.
Deane Vets in Taunton is looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy and welcoming first-opinion practice. The caseload is varied, with cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries and the occasional tortoise, so you’ll have plenty of scope to build client relationships while working through a broad mix of medical and surgical cases.
You can shape the role around your interests, whether that is consulting, surgery or a combination of both. The practice offers a good balance of consultations and routine surgery, including dentistry, lump removals and soft tissue procedures, with time to work cases up properly and provide continuity of care.
Full-time hours are worked over four days, with shifts between 8:30am and 7:00pm. Part-time applications are also welcome, and the rota includes 1 in 6 Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 1:00pm, with no out-of-hours commitments.
