As Clinical Director at Yorkshire Vet Hospital, you'll take the helm of clinical operations across a busy multi-disciplinary veterinary hospital and its five branch surgeries. This is a genuine leadership opportunity for a clinically driven individual passionate about advancing standards of patient care and developing veterinary teams. You'll work closely with the Director of Practice and senior leadership team, maintaining exceptional clinical standards, driving quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring outstanding patient and client care.
The role is based in Bradford with a manageable schedule: 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday (4 or 5 days) plus one Saturday morning per month (8.30am to 12.30pm). There are no out-of-hours or on-call commitments, offering genuine work-life balance at senior level. Yorkshire Vet Hospital is an RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital and clinical hub in Bradford, serving as the focal point for five branch surgeries across the wider practice. As host site for Vets Now Bradford, the hospital offers seamless 24/7 patient care, allowing cases to remain within a familiar setting and giving teams access to a truly varied and rewarding caseload. The team includes 16 vets with specialist interests in surgery, ophthalmology and dermatology, plus a highly skilled nursing team.
The hospital is exceptionally well equipped with laparoscopic surgery equipment, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental radiography, a dedicated orthopaedic theatre and Phovia light therapy. Located across Leeds and Bradford, the practice offers the perfect blend of vibrant city living and easy access to beautiful countryside, the Yorkshire Dales, Nidderdale and the Yorkshire coastline.
