Receptionist

About the Role

This is a welcoming, varied part-time reception role across three south hub practices in Stapenhill, Hilton, and Mickleover. You'll be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, setting the tone for their entire experience at the practice. Every day brings something different: managing appointments, answering enquiries, handling communications, and working alongside clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a smooth patient journey.

The role is offered on a flexible contract of 17 hours per week, with shifts between 8.30am and 7.00pm on weekdays and 8.30am to 6pm on Saturdays. Job share arrangements are considered. Rotas are produced at least 4 weeks in advance and may be adjusted based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with a welcoming, professional, and compassionate approach
• Manage appointment scheduling and client enquiries efficiently
• Support client communications and handle administrative tasks
• Work collaboratively with the client care team to deliver excellent service at every interaction
• Contribute to the smooth running of the practice across the three south hub locations

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner
• Experience in a customer-facing role with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment
• Collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues
• Proactive attitude with openness to feedback and learning
• Flexibility to work weekend rotas
