This full-time registered veterinary nurse position is based at Nithsdale Vets, a two-site small animal practice serving Dumfries and Thornhill in Scotland. You'll be part of a collaborative clinical team delivering high-quality nursing care to a diverse caseload, working Monday to Friday with a shared weeknight and weekend on-call rota (typically 4 to 4.5-day working weeks). Weekend on-call duties include Saturday work from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
Both practice sites are well-equipped with modern clinical facilities including digital X-ray, IDEXX laboratory equipment, ultrasound machines, dental units with X-ray capability, multiparameter monitors, and flexible endoscopy. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills across medical, surgical, and preventative care nursing.
