No out-of-hours shifts required. After-hours cover provided by Vets Now from 7:30 pm onwards. Saturday rota is daytime only (8:30 am to 1:30 pm), 1 in 6.
This is a full-time position at Letchworth Veterinary Centre, a busy first opinion small animal practice serving the local community and surrounding areas. You'll work a 40-hour week across 4 or 5 days, with hours between 7:45 am and 7:30 pm, plus a 1 in 6 Saturday rota from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. Importantly, there are no out-of-hours shifts: all after-hours cover is provided by Vets Now, giving you genuine work-life balance.
As an integral member of the clinical team, you'll deliver high-quality nursing care across a range of first opinion cases, working collaboratively with the five-strong veterinary team (three of whom have over 10 years' experience) and the wider practice staff. The practice is equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house lab, separate theatre and dental rooms, dental x-ray, and tonovet. You'll have the opportunity to progress into senior nursing, referral roles, or clinical supervisory positions.
