This full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position offers the rare gift of no out-of-hours cover. You'll work 37.5 hours per week with flexible scheduling considered, based at The Oak Veterinary Group's main practice in Haverfordwest, a charming coastal town in Pembrokeshire surrounded by stunning countryside and beaches.
The practice is undergoing a property redevelopment in 2026 and offers a comprehensive range of small animal services: surgery, dentistry, internal laboratory, ultrasound, radiography, endoscopy, laser, and acupuncture. Hydrotherapy and physiotherapy services are delivered at the Fishguard branch, which also has its own surgical and laboratory facilities plus a unique aquatic treadmill.
You'll be part of a blended team of 1 Head Vet, 7 veterinary surgeons, 1 Head Nurse, 4 registered veterinary nurses, 3 student nurses, and 2 Animal Care Assistants, plus reception and practice management staff across three sites. The team includes an advanced practitioner in small animal surgery who handles complex orthopaedic and soft tissue cases. Social events and team gatherings are regular highlights.
