Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

You'll be the first point of contact for clients at Blenheim Veterinary Centre, playing a key role in creating a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. Based in the stunning market town of Ashbourne on the edge of the Peak District, this part-time role offers excellent access to major roads and nearby cities including Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester and Birmingham.

The practice is housed in a spacious, well-equipped building with plentiful parking for both clients and staff. You'll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries and supporting client communications. Working 32 hours across Monday to Friday with rota-based Saturday cover, you'll collaborate closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

• Undertake Saturday cover on a rota basis

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner
• Experience in a customer-facing role with a strong focus on service and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues
• Proactive attitude and openness to feedback and learning

The practice treats dogs, cats and small pets, and is exotic, rabbit and chicken friendly.
