Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

Three Rivers Veterinary Group is looking for an organised, personable Receptionist to join the Beccles team on a part-time, fixed-term basis for 12 months. This is a client-facing role where you'll be the first point of contact for pet owners, helping to create a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

The working pattern is 19.5 hours per week, covering Mondays and Fridays plus one in three Saturday mornings. You'll be based mainly at the Beccles practice, with flexibility to travel to other sites when needed for holiday or sickness cover and to support the needs of the business.

The main surgery is in Beccles, with branches in Kessingland, Loddon, Poringland and Norwich. The practice also has excellent facilities, including a CT scanner, and accepts local referrals for advanced diagnostics and orthopaedic surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients and provide a warm, professional welcome.
• Manage appointments and keep the practice diary organised.
• Dispense and process medication.
• Support vets and veterinary nurses with day-to-day client and practice needs.
• Process payments and handle financial transactions.
• Help ensure clients and their pets receive a positive experience from start to finish.
