Join a supportive 17-vet team where work-life balance is genuinely prioritised. Lead surgery, develop your interests, and work just 4 days a week with no out-of-hours rota.
This is an opportunity to lead a surgical and consultancy caseload at a well-equipped 11-branch practice spanning Lancashire. You'll work a flexible 4-day working week with one set day off per week and one Saturday morning in eight, meaning genuine time to rest and recharge. There is no out-of-hours or evening rota required.
The practice actively encourages you to develop your own clinical interests and specialisms, supported by a team that includes certificate holders in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Anaesthesia, Dentistry and Oral Surgery, plus two vets nearing completion of Dermatology qualifications. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic equipment including CT scanning, digital radiography, laparoscopy, endoscopy and a full in-house laboratory. Studying towards further qualifications is fully funded and encouraged.
The role offers genuine flexibility: you can work full-time or part-time, focus on consultations only, or blend consulting with regular surgical time. The practice is committed to tailoring the position to suit you, rather than fitting you into a predetermined role.
