Join Mansion Hill Vets as a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon and deliver high-quality care across a varied small animal caseload in a well-equipped practice. This role operates on a four-day week with Saturday mornings on a 1:3 rota (8:30am to 12:30pm only) and no out-of-hours requirements, meaning you genuinely get your evenings and nights back. You'll cover sole charge duties for at least three of your working days, working confidently alongside a supportive clinical team.
The practice is nestled in Middleton Cheney, near Banbury in the Oxfordshire countryside, and attracts a steady stream of routine cases. You'll see a balanced mix of consultations and surgical procedures involving dogs, cats, rabbits, and small furries. Routine procedures like spays, castrates, lump removals, and dentals form the backbone of your day, with the occasional interesting case to keep things fresh.
You'll be an integral member of a close-knit clinical team committed to delivering excellent care while supporting colleagues in their development. The practice has a strong community focus, working closely with Blue Cross, Cats Protection, and the RSPCA.
