Ready to join a supportive, well-equipped hospital where you can focus on first-opinion work without the stress of OOH rota? This is your chance to grow clinically while enjoying genuine work-life balance.
No OOH or bank holiday cover required. Saturday rota participation (8:00 am to 12:00 pm) usually 1 in 4, but this is daytime work, not out-of-hours.
You'll be joining a friendly, stable team at Yorkshire Vets' Thornbury hospital and five branch practices in the Leeds and Bradford area. This role offers a refreshing approach to GP practice: a varied caseload in a well-equipped hospital environment with access to specialist support from certificate holders in ophthalmology, surgery, and dermatology. The best part? No out-of-hours or bank holiday commitments.
Your working pattern is flexible and negotiable. The standard offer is 4 to 5 days per week with shifts typically running 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, plus participation in the Saturday rota (8:00 am to 12:00 pm) usually 1 in 4. However, the practice recognises that everyone's circumstances differ and is happy to discuss flexible arrangements that suit you.
