Mill House Veterinary Surgery & Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their high-achieving small animal team in King's Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established, clinically advanced practice recognised for excellence across all six RCVS awards. The role offers flexibility across daytime shifts (half consulting, half theatre), twilight shifts (noon–10pm), and duty shifts (6:30pm–9am), with your rota tailored to your preferred working times and clinical interests. Full-time positions work 38 hours over 4 days a week with a 1:4 weekend rota and no on-call—a genuine win for work-life balance.
You'll be joining a thriving referral and first-opinion practice with an inquisitive, learning-focused culture where wellbeing is genuinely prioritised. The practice handles a varied caseload and accepts referrals in internal medicine, laparoscopy, radiology, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and acupuncture. With exceptional equipment including video endoscopy, laparoscopy, vascular sealing devices, harmonic scalpel, CR digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, colour flow Doppler, capnography, ventilator, and slit lamp, you'll have the resources to develop expertise across multiple specialisms.
