ECC Specialist Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

VES (Veterinary Emergency & Specialty) Hospital is Singapore's first dedicated veterinary specialty referral hospital combined with 24/7 emergency care. You'll join a collaborative multidisciplinary team of specialists and referral clinicians in Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, and Critical Care. This full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to practise at the highest level in a renovated facility equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, echocardiography, C-arm, CT scan, MRI, rigid and flexible endoscopy, dedicated ICU, advanced monitoring, and in-house laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead communications with veterinarians and the veterinary medical team to maintain seamless patient flow
• Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional clinical service at all times
• Obtain relevant information and history from clients to maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Ensure the safety of patients, clients, and colleagues by utilising appropriate restraining techniques and adhering to standard protocols
• Maintain clean, sterile, and organised treatment areas, examination rooms, and laboratory facilities
• Educate clients about preventive care, pet health needs, diagnosis, treatment options, hospital services, and related matters
• Embody and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within your practice and team
• Utilise your technical and clinical skills to the fullest within all mandated regulations

Requirements

• Veterinary Surgeon qualification (BVSc, BVetMed, or equivalent) with RCVS or international registration
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in Emergency and Critical Care
• Specialist knowledge or qualification in ECC is preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice
