About the Role

You’ll be joining Swayne & Partners in Haverhill as a Veterinary Surgeon within Kin Vet Community. This is a busy, well equipped first opinion hospital role with a strong mix of consulting and surgery, designed for an experienced vet who wants real clinical autonomy while still being part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied first opinion medical and surgical caseload
• Consult and carry out routine soft tissue surgery independently
• Take one dedicated operating day each week
• Build strong relationships with a loyal client base
• Work closely with experienced vets and nurses
• Contribute to the practice’s clinical standards and team culture

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ UK small animal experience, with 5+ years preferred
• Confidence performing routine soft tissue surgery independently
• Strong consulting and communication skills
• A collaborative approach and commitment to patient care
• An interest in continuing professional development
• Certificate holders are welcomed, and support is available for those working towards a certificate
