This is an excellent opportunity to train towards your Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification in a welcoming, active practice with strong small animal caseload. You'll split your time between clinical work and structured college study: 3 days per week in practice, 1 day per week at an RCVS approved college, and 1 day off for additional study. The role is part-time permanent, working 33.25 hours per week, which gives you genuine flexibility to balance hands-on experience with classroom learning.
Based in Warwickshire's sought-after area, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds: historic countryside including the nearby Cotswolds, with Birmingham just 30 minutes' drive and London a direct train away. The team is genuinely close-knit, with regular social events, team building activities, and a strong culture of supporting each other's development.
Avonvale Vets is part of Linnaeus, a forward-thinking partnership of primary care and referral veterinary practices across the UK and Ireland. Linnaeus is built on a commitment to excellence and a shared purpose: A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS. The group works across multiple disciplines including small animal, farm, and equine medicine, partnering with practices that share these values.
The team at Avonvale Vets prioritises both clinical excellence and staff wellbeing. Mental Health First Aiders are present across the practice and central support office, with a confidential Employee Assistance Programme available to all staff.
