A full-time small animal vet role with no out-of-hours work, a 40-hour week and 1:5 Saturday mornings offers a structured rota with room for clinical variety. You will also have access to a welcome bonus, relocation allowance and a supportive team in Romsey.
You will be joining Mainstone Vets in Romsey as a confident Veterinary Surgeon, working in a role centred on small animal first opinion practice. The caseload is predominantly cats and dogs, with rabbits, small furries and the occasional wildlife patient, including hedgehogs and birds of prey.
This position offers a balance of consultations and surgery, with routine work alongside orthopaedics and occasional emergency and critical care cases. There are elements of sole charge, so the practice is looking for a vet who is comfortable making independent clinical decisions while knowing support is available when needed.
The rota is 40 hours per week, worked between 8:30am and 7pm, plus 1:5 Saturday mornings from 8:30am to 12:30pm. There is no out-of-hours work, and part-time applications over 30 hours are welcomed.
