About the Role
You'll join Medivet Battersea's welcoming team as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, playing a central clinical role in a purpose-built West London practice. This is a 4-day week position with 1:6 weekend rota, meaning you'll have a guaranteed day off each week to plan your life around—rare in veterinary practice, and genuinely game-changing for work-life balance.
The practice handles a full spectrum of cases: routine consults, inpatient care, and advanced surgeries. You'll have access to modern diagnostics including digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, full laboratory facilities with haematology and biochemistry analysers, plus endoscopy and CT imaging at the nearby 24-hour Medivet Camberwell referral centre. There's real scope here to develop your consulting skills through nurse-led appointments, with structured training and support to build confidence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities, ensuring exceptional patient and client care
- Support veterinary surgeons during consults, surgeries and advanced procedures
- Manage patient monitoring, admissions, discharges and inpatient care to the highest standards
- Maintain compliance with RCVS, practice and operational regulations across all clinical activities
- Collaborate actively within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver cohesive, high-quality care
