Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

This is a full-time position as a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Medivet’s Faygate practice, where you’ll take the lead on nurse-led appointments and provide essential clinical support to the veterinary team. You’ll be at the heart of patient care delivery, managing everything from routine health checks to post-operative monitoring, whilst maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes
• Provide skilled clinical support during veterinary consultations, surgical procedures and ongoing patient care
• Manage patient admissions, monitoring and discharges with meticulous attention to regulatory standards
• Deliver compassionate client communication and support throughout the patient journey
• Maintain full compliance with RCVS standards, practice protocols and operational procedures
• Collaborate within a supportive clinical team environment

Requirements

• RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse (current and valid)
• Passion for high-quality patient and client care
• Strong team-working ethos and commitment to supporting colleagues
• Ability to maintain regulatory compliance and operational standards
